Telecommunication business has increased steadily within CNTIC and the company is now specialized in import and export of complete sets of telecommunication apparatus such as switching system, transmission equipment, GSM and CDMA.
CNTIC cooperates with the design institutes and manufacturers in China to participate in project tenders and develop its ability as a contractor in the field of telecommunication so as to explore new market. The company will conduct business on BOT basis when and where possible by way of cooperations with the designing institutes, equipment suppliers and operator.
In the aspect of import, CNTIC has introduced advanced telecommunication apparatus and technology to Chinese end-users. We undertook the project of upgrading GSM system in Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and imported GSM system, switching system, Router and other equipment to help to improve the situation there. CNTIC will pay great attention to the development of the Chinese telecommunication market and try to be involved in sales of advanced telecommunication equipment in China. CNTIC will also make great efforts to be the purchasing agent of the major telecommunication operators in the country.
In the aspect of export, CNTIC has successfully exported a lot of complete sets of telecommunication equipments to many countries, including complete sets of equipment for Intro-city Transmission Network and National Backbone Network to Iran, which covers more than 120 medium and large-sized cities of the country. We have exported totally 5 million lines of stored-program control exchanges to Iran; 100,000 lines of switch equipment as well as the intelligent Network System to the Philippines; 250,000 lines of stored-program control exchanges, transmission equipment and GSM communication equipment to Iraq; 100,000 lines of switch equipment and data communication equipment to Cuba; and the intelligent Network equipment to Zimbabwe and Syria.
