Improving Project Management to Promote the Strategic transition of CNTIC------CNTIC Conducted the Training of Analyzing Conditions of FIDIC Contract

On June 6, 2006, CNTIC conducted a training lecture of analyzing the application of FIDIC contract conditions in order to fully implement the development strategy of Genertec Group, and accelerate the transition of our operation from traditional export handling to international contracting and project management, as well as deepen staff’s cognition of FIDIC contract conditions. Vice President Liu Debing, Wang Xusheng, Wu Duoyu and more than 60 staffs from related departments had take part in this training course.

The lecturer Professor Zhang Shuibo was especially invited from College of Management, Tianjin University. He has also received P.H.D. of Engineering Project Management in Hongkong University. As a member of CIBO-The Chartered Institute of Building, Professor Zhang who has been engaged in the tendering and contracting of hydro power stations and oil projects in Belize, Sudan and Iran enjoys good reputation in the field of international project management and project contracting.

After the training lecture, all participants agreed that this was a timely and effective training activity which enabled them to understand more deeply about the contents and key points of FIDIC conditions and could guide their work in the future.
