In the field of light and textile industry, CNTIC has put its focus on pulping and paper-making, printing, sugar refining, textile and chemical fiber sector.
In the field of import: Taking the advantage of rich experience in the technology trade and with the guidance of state's industrial policy , CNTIC has introduced and procured large-scale pulping and papermaking equipment that are the most advanced in China for 5 key paper mills with government loans, and at the same time introduced technologies for papermaking equipment for 7 manufacturers, an important project organized by the former State Economic Commission. Up to now, CNTIC has imported over 70 sets of pulping and papermaking lines, covering complete plants for mechanical pulp, chemical wood pulp, bamboo pulp, newsprint, LWC paper, top-grade coat paper and cardboard paper etc., thus making contributions to the comprehensive technological upgrading and adjustment of product structure for our country in the papermaking sector. Meanwhile, CNTIC has provided sound service in the technical innovation of printing equipment for large newspaper firms and groups, and improved highly the overall level of China's newspaper pressing.
In the export field: CNTIC specializes in technology trade and has always focused on export of technology-intensive products including high-tech products and complete plants. CNTIC has set up 26 textiles mills with total 600,000 spindles in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Thailand and Indonesia. CNTIC has exported textile equipments to Pakistan and India, polyester staple fiber complete production line to Pakistan and Thailand, short ethylene fiber production line to Indonesia and Australia, oil pressing plant with capacity of 40 tons per day to Pakistan, wood based panel production line to Vietnam, industrial paper plant to Bangladesh and Pakistan, knitted bags and nylon filament production lines to Burundi.
